Deadly Silence is the first episode of the sixteenth season. The episode aired on 7 June 2016, and dramatises the events of the 1999 South Dakota Learjet crash.
Plot
On October 25, 1999; a charted Learjet 45 operated by Sunjet Aviation, carrying golfer Payne Stewart and his agents, runs out of fuel and crashes into a field in South Dakota after flying of course, killing the 6 people on board. NTSB investigators conclude that everyone on board had suffered from hypoxia before the plane actually crashed.

- This is the second episode to feature a Learjet 45 crash, the first being the fourteenth season episode "Accident or Assasination".
